Ballerina 4

Ballerina4-05_edited.jpg

This sculpture shows the moment of classical ballet. A moment of dance and a graceful gesture of the ballerina’s hands emphasize the beauty, the composition is complemented by a stand painted under a decorative stone. Performed in a realistic style, with a lot of small details, the sculpture demonstrates mastery and can decorate any interior.

Sculpture height: 260 mm.

Plastic Consumption:
Figurine (assembled from three parts and a fan) - 80 grams
Pedestal - 37 grams

This sculpture was printed on an FDM printer Lad-1.0 with a nozzle of 0.4 mm, a layer height of 0.1 mm when printing the Figurine and 0.2 mm when printing the Pedestal.

Post-processing: grinding, chemical polishing with ethyl acetate.
Coloring: acrylic enamels and polyurethane varnish. It was painted with a brush.

To reduce the consumption of plastic for printing supports, you can print the upper and lower parts of the Figurine separately, in the optimal orientation for printing on an FDM printer (files Ballerina4-top.stl and Ballerina4-bottom.stl).

The fan is printed separately and attached to the Figurine using a curved pin of steel wire with a diameter of 0.5 mm. (There are two fan options: the Ballerina4-Fan.stl fan itself and the fan with the built-in Ballerina4-FanSup.stl supports, which must be removed after printing).

The Figurine and the Pedestal are connected using a curved pin with a diameter of 1 mm.
